All department/program description data is centrally stored and managed by the Registrar’s Office.  This data is used on  academic department websites, wesmaps and in the printed catalog.  Individual departments can make changes to their description — and the Registrar’s office will review the changes and publish them.

ITS has resolved the issues that arose from a problem in PeopleSoft that occurred last night. The many systems affected by this problem have been restored.

If you believe you are still experiencing a related issue, please contact your Desktop Support Specialist, Student HelpDesk or its@wesleyan.edu.

With the broader issue now largely resolved, any Moodle-specific issues should now have been addressed. Please let us know if you find this is not so.

The PeopleSoft issue that affected multiple systems including Moodle and wireless access is nearly resolved.  We are restoring systems as quickly as possible.  Email notifications to the community were severely delayed as the list-serve system was also impacted.  ITS will follow up with an update this afternoon.

Wesleyan ITS has been made aware of a problem involving several campus systems, including but not limited to Moodle. We are working to fix the problem as quickly as possible and to keep everyone up to date.

ITS is working on solving a problem in PeopleSoft that is affecting applications in EPortfolio as well as Moodle.  We are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

The problem with the message waiting lights has been resolved. If after listening to all your new messages your light still remains on, contact Rose Smith at x3399 or rsmith03@wesleyan.edu for further assistance.

Thanks,

We have received reports that the message waiting lights on the Nortel phones are not working properly at this time. Either the lights are remaining lit with no messages, or not lighted with unheard voice mail messages in your voice mailbox. Please check your voice mail regularly regardless of the light’s status until we resolve the problem. We are currently diagnosing the problem.

Message waiting lights for users on the Cisco VOIP system are working correctly at this time.

Thank you.
